Fairies begin their life’s work as children, working with the adults in increasingly difficult tasks as they grow. This young fairy, Bugfinder, aspires to be a warrior, fighting off dangerous insects from the fairy’s home territory. His current job is to search for bugs at night while an adult fairy provides guidance and light. When he finds one, he sends signals, thumbs down for a bad bug and curved fingers for the shape of the antenna so that the adult can confirm the bug’s identity and decide how to handle it.
