Cool Beans! was created in the aftermath of a Baha'i Children's Class on the beauty of diversity among the peoples of the world.

Beans of varying sizes, colors and shapes represented the diversity of humankind and were used by children to create pieces of artwork.

When the children were finished, I took the extra beans and created a still life for a painting demonstration at the Historic Savage Mill's 2009 Art Jam Weekend.
