The Liberty bridge is an amazing single-sided suspension bridge which arcs over the Reedy River in Greenville, SC. It allows pedestrian traffic to cross the river high above the waterfall and rocks that cut through Falls Park in the beautifully renovated downtown. The height of the bridge allows viewers to look down on the people relaxing, picnicking, wading and feeding the ducks below from a totally new and detached perspective. It reminds me of how large our world is and how insignificant each one of us are, while at the same time, necessary to complete the pattern in the fabric of our universe.
