One of the many things that I love about living in the South are the flowering Mimosa trees. I am fascinated by their bursts of bright pink flowers that look like little explosions of color and the fact that the same flower cluster includes the entire life cycle of the flower within its multiple bloom cluster, its buds symbolizing birth, its bloom, symbolizing its life and its wilted state, not its death, for it lives on releasing seeds for a new birth, thus immortality, all simultaneously within the same flower cluster.

One of the many things that I love about living in the South are the flowering Mimosa trees.
