Second Place Winner in the Grace Mills River 17th Annual Juried Art Exhibition, this painting represents our quest for the meaning of life, for spiritual enlightenment, for our creator. To prepare ourselves, we must first discard our preconceived ideas and learnings, emptying our cup so that it can be filled again.  As we traverse the hills and valleys of life, choosing which appears to be the best path at each intersection, we grow inside, being drawn by the light of dawn, to the object of our quest.
